Description:

The Imaging Attendant provides technical staff with general assistance in the preparation, planning and performance of procedures. This includes transporting patients and equipment, and providing preliminary screening and preparation for MRI, CT and Ultrasound patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required. Medical Terminology certificate or recognized equivalent required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade XII diploma. Computer literacy - familiar with Word. Good interpersonal and public relations skills. Good communication skills (oral and written) in English language. Good judgement, initiative and cooperation.

Preferred Qualifications:

One-year experience in a hospital patient care environment. Strong working knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging Department.
