Description:
The Imaging Attendant provides technical staff with general assistance in the preparation, planning and performance of procedures. This includes transporting patients and equipment, and providing preliminary screening and preparation for MRI, CT and Ultrasound patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required. Medical Terminology certificate or recognized equivalent required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Good interpersonal and public relations skills. Good communication skills (oral and written) in English language. Good judgement, initiative and cooperation. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality. Formal Medical terminology course or successful completion of Diagnostic Imaging Medical Terminology examination.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging Department.
