Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or other health related science. Currently licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA), or an applicable professional regulatory body. Completion of basic Infection Prevention and Control training course, or commitment to complete this in first year of practice.
Additional Required Qualifications:Skills and expertise to communicate knowledge and support delivery of the Infection Control Work plan. Interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing, facilitating, conflict resolution, and the ability to form positive working relationships. Self-motivated, positive, and confident with the ability to cope under stress.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous Infection Prevention and Control experience preferred. Experience in Acute Care sector an asset.
