Total of 6-8 years experience within healthcare. Of those 6-8 years, a minimum of 3-5 years experience as an Infection Control Professional (REQUIRED). Project management experience required. Experience leading: teams, working groups and projects. Leadership experience. Change management experience. Experience conducting research or best practice information gathering. Experience developing educational materials and policies.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Currently licensed with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or an application professional licensing body, required. Must be maintained throughout duration of employment. Completion of basic Infection Prevention and Control training course, or commitment to attend training once employed, required. Participates in position related professional members (IPAC – Canada). Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C – Health Care Provider required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree preferred. Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
