Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or other applicable degree required. Combination of education and experience will be considered. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) is required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of five (5) years' clinical experience in Women's Health setting is required. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor certification required. Demonstrated leadership, education, group facilitation skills are required. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is required. Demonstrated effective teaching, coaching and mentoring skills are required. Demonstrated ability to participate productively to a multidisciplinary team is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required. Knowledge and application of adult learning principles is required. Ability to collaborate with a variety of disciplines and between a varieties of patient care areas is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced training in adult education or a clinical area is an asset.
