Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or other applicable degree required. Combination of education and experience will be considered. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) is required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in an institutional setting. Experience with and knowledge of infusion pumps and related equipment. Experience with microsoft office and related programs required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills in a variety of settings is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Leadership experience preferred. Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives utilizing best practice an asset. Knowledge of patient safety, quality improvement, accreditation standards, and human factors engineering preferred.
