Graduate of a Medical Laboratory Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Practice permit required. Evidence of appropriate CSMLS certification. Familiarity with Laboratory Information systems an asses (e.g. Sunquest and/or CoPath, Beaker). An organized, independent worker and strong team player committed to providing quality patient care. Understand and maintain a working knowledge of analytical techniques and demonstrate excellent problem solving, decision making and troubleshooting skills. Approachable and reliable demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to deal courteously and tactfully with team members and other para medical staff.
