Bachelor¿s degree in a health-related field Registered with the applicable professional association or college under the Health Professions Act International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification Current experience in breastfeeding assessment and management
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience as a Lactation Consultant. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Experience with delivering programming and development of orientation and education. Experience coaching and mentoring staff, assessing learning requirements, developing training materials. Strong relationship building skills, effective time management skills. Knowledge of Women’s and Child health.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 years recent experience working with Maternal-Newborn population. Experience in Adult Education.
