Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven leadership and delegation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent assessment and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:One year of continuing care experience. One year on a subacute or acute orthopedic/medicine hospital unit. Completion of the provincial infusion pump education and annual recertification exam. Ability to administer intravenous medications.
