Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:One year of acute medicine experience required. Intravenous certification required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Excellent assessment and organizational skills required. Willing and able to work in a Collaborative Team model.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years of acute medicine experience preferred. Practicing full scope with required skills as mandated by CLPNA an advantage.
