Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Is required to spend considerable time standing, walking and in close supportive contact with patients. Is required to bend, pull, lift, perform variable movements, change position (assume awkward positions), transfer and/or lift adults and transport equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a palliative setting preferred. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Ability to diplomatically address patient/family concerns. Evidence of continuous learning.
