Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum one year of Maternal-Newborn experience within the last two years or a successful completion of a preceptorship in Postpartum/Antepartum. Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and competing priorities with efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) would be preferred. Strong understanding of the Baby-Friendly Initiative essential. Connect Care training and relevant experience preferred. Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
