Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medication Administration required. Intravenous certification required. Two years of maternal/newborn experience. One year of Medicine and surgery experience. Certificate and extensive experience with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Excellent assessment and organizational skills required.
