Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Procedural sedation experience and certification required. Direct IV administration experience and certification required. Central line access experience and certification required. Recent acute care hospital experience required. BLS (level C) required. Oral, sub cutaneous, intramuscular medication administration experience and certification required. Intravenous experience and certification required. Ability and experience working independently is required. Sedation Recovery experience and skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:Three years in an acute care hospital preference. One year FT in a Diagnostic Imaging Department in an acute care hospital preference.
