Your Opportunity:

Are you a practical nurse who is passionate about developing people, building stronger teams and creating new pathways into health care? Covenant Health’s Grow Your Own (GYO) program provides education, employment and hands-on learning to individuals working toward a career as a Health Care Aide. As a LPN Educator supporting the GYO program, you will play an important role in supporting learner success while helping sites across the province build and sustain their future workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to take your nursing expertise beyond frontline practice and apply your education, project coordination, relationship-building and strategic skills to a program with organization-wide impact. You will work with learners, site-based tutors, operational leaders, educators and post-secondary partners to support consistent program delivery, strengthen local educational capacity and prepare learners to provide safe, high-quality, resident-centered care. You will monitor learner progress, identify and address barriers to success, support and develop site-based tutors and collaborate with leaders to understand workforce needs and opportunities. You will also contribute to program improvement and workforce planning by identifying learner pipeline opportunities, emerging staffing needs and factors that influence workforce sustainability. Working closely with Professional Practice, Talent Acquisition and operational partners across Covenant Health, you will help ensure learners are confident, competent and practice-ready while supporting sites to develop their own talent pipelines. If you are looking to combine your clinical expertise with your passion for education, project work, strategic thinking and workforce development, this could be the next step in your nursing career.
