Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Foot Care is an area of advanced LPN practice which requires the LPN to complete an approved specialty program in this area and then apply for advanced authorization from the Registrar at CLPNA to be permitted to practice in this area. The educational programs listed below are approved by CLPNA council. Alberta Foot Care Academy (CLPNACouncil Approved 2019-2023). Caritas College (CLPNA Council Approved March 2020 to April 2021). Edmonton Foot Care Academy (CLPNA Council Approved 2019-2023). NorQuest College (Review process pending).
