Your Opportunity:

Here is your chance to manage a diagnostic imaging team, in a rural setting. Reporting to the Program Manager, as a member of the Covenant Health Provincial Diagnostic Imaging Management team, the Bonnyville Health Centre oversees daily operations for the General Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services. You will ensure DI delivers professional, high-quality service to our patients, families, and communities. The position manages human resources, operational budgets, key performance indicators and establishes and maintains effective liaison within Covenant Health management, community stakeholders and external colleagues to ensure integrated imaging service delivery.

Description:

This position is non-unionized, and the posting is for a 1-year, temporary position. It is a requirement of the role to have regular on-site presence. This will result in overnight stays in Bonnyville.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Health Sciences or Business Administration and/or equivalent of education and recognized healthcare experience. Membership in appropriate professional organization to support professional development. Licensed by the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) if applicable. Minimum five (5) years' experience in the provision of DI services. Minimum three (3) years' experience in leadership/supervisory capacity required. Awareness and appreciation of the specific challenges and needs of rural health service delivery.
