Your Opportunity:
The Provincial Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, and lifecycle management of capital equipment, space planning, and furnishings across healthcare facilities and corporate spaces. This role ensures alignment with organizational standards, clinical requirements, and fiscal accountability while supporting operational efficiency and patient-centered care environments.
Description:
Capital Equipment Management: Develop and implement provincial strategies for capital equipment planning, procurement, and replacement. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety regulations, and budgetary guidelines. Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring. Oversee procurement, installation, and lifecycle management of equipment. Space Planning: Lead space planning initiatives for healthcare facilities and corporate offices to optimize functionality and workflow. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure spaces meet patient care and staff needs. Coordinate with architects, designers, and project managers on renovations and new builds. Furnishings: Establish standards for furnishings that support infection prevention, durability, and ergonomic requirements. Manage procurement and installation processes for furniture in clinical and administrative environments. Governance & Reporting: Develop policies and procedures for capital equipment and space planning. Monitor budgets, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with provincial and organizational standards. This position is non-unionized.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment and/or space planning, healthcare facility management, or related discipline. Strong knowledge of provincial health landscape, healthcare operations, equipment lifecycle, and space planning principles. Experience managing large-scale budgets and vendor contracts.
