Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Required: Experience of 5+ years in a management position. Proven ability to manage staff and stakeholders. Operational experience in multiple industries outside of healthcare. Proficient operational and financial acumen. Proficient in conflict resolution. Ability to champion and implement new operational initiatives. Experience with resource planning and deployment. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor, coach and manage performance of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred: Clinical leadership or healthcare innovation related experience. Has an understanding of healthcare structure in Alberta. Ability to interact and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders. Proven to have strong administrative and process management skills. Understands the importance of delegation of tasks, communicating clear accountabilities and manage performance accordingly. Understands work culture and takes steps to improve it where required. Ability to assess risk and mitigate it accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in health sciences or business administration. Currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution and on track to complete a relevant degree or certificate is acceptable.
