Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary education from an accredited college or University in Human Resources or related discipline. Minimum 10 years progressive experience in HR, benefits and pension administration, including 3 to 5 years in a unionized environment, and experience supervising a team of staff. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Effective verbal and written communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing responsive, quality services. Proven ability to foster partnerships/build solid relationships to achieve organizational goals within a diverse organization. Strong analytical, problem solving, and resolution skills. Ability to build and sustain trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders. A strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) considered an asset.
