Bachelor’s degree in food science / nutrition or a Certified Nutrition Manager OR a recognized equivalent combination of education and experience. Education in business accounting and marketing or equivalent experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Three (3) to Five (5) years recent experience in Food Service Administration. Three (3) to Five (5) years recent HealthCare management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Three (3) to Five (5) years leading in a unionized workforce.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Human Rights Legislation, Alberta Food Code, Accreditation Standards, Continuing Care Health Services Standards. Familiarity with therapeutic, texture modified diets and clinical nutrition. Strong time management skills/organizational ability. Critical thinking and ability to problem solve. Experience in institutional food production, environmental services, and laundry. Project Management experience.
