Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computing Science, Engineering or related program (focused on quantitative analysis). 5 years of clinical analytics experience within the Alberta healthcare system. 5 years of team leadership experience. Equivalencies in education and experience will be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A broad base of technical skills including but not limited to significant experience with SQL Developer, Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau. Ability to manage numerous projects and work requirements as an individual contributor and those of the team. Broad knowledge of provincial and organizational health system/service priorities. Sound knowledge base in healthcare including current trends and issues as well as applicable legislation, regulation, standards and codes. Ability to adapt to and respond to a changing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead and develop a team. Sound knowledge of the Health Information Act (HIA) and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Computing Science, Engineering or related program (focused on quantitative analysis). Project Management experience. Change Management or Lean experience.
