As both a Millwright and a Welder, must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson or hold a valid recognized credential.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficient in the use of computers and desktop applications, e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Office (Includes Outlook, Word, and Excel). Heavy lifting and bending are required. Must be able to work around sick and vulnerable people. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented and organized. Must be able to use required tools and equipment related to maintenance, repair, and testing. Must be able to maintain composure and make decisions in emergencies. Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications and locate operational data from operating and maintenance manuals.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years Journeyman experience preferred. Two years in a hospital maintenance setting preferred. Able to communicate clearly in English, verbally, and in writing.
