Required Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of one (1) years’ experience as a Radiological Technologist I, part of which must be in a medium to large hospital setting. Involved in x-ray emitting procedures requiring the donning of leaded apparel weighing up to 9.5kg for up to 7.75 hours while assisting within the perimeter of a radiation field. Willing to learn, and able to effectively communicate any limitations in knowledge. Competency in CT exams and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with a Siemens CT scanner preferred but not essential.
