St. Mary's Hospital Diagnostic Imaging department offers a unique work environment that allows technologists to develop and maintain their skill sets in a variety of areas including emergency trauma imaging, portables, OR C-arm intraoperative imaging, fluoroscopy, interventional radiography, ECGs, general radiography, and CT scanning. This position will be responsible for covering inpatient and emergency CT scans during the evening. This position will be cross trained in both GR and CT modalities; they will be expected to help support the Xray tech during the evening shift. There will be plenty of opportunity to pick up additional shifts at this site and surrounding communities. Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist II (MRT) will provide advanced clinical services which may include work in a specialized area and/or coordination of an assigned program area. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required
Additional Required Qualifications:OR/C-arm experience. Fluoroscopy experience. Gen Rad and CT experience in acute care setting. Experience with Epic/Connect Care and Impax. BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Completed CT Imaging Certificate. IV Insertion.
