Required Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Two years experience as a Radiological Technologist I or II in a medium to large hospital (200-500 beds). Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot quickly and effectively. Able to provide leadership, coaching and motivation in routine and non-routine situations. Must be capable of performing all routine imaging procedure, exercise good judgement in the selection and application of technical factors and able to adapt to new techniques. Required to assist Radiologists in complicated and lengthy procedures.
