Your Opportunity:
Join the St. Mary's DI team where you will be able to expand and maintain all your gen rad imaging skill sets including ER/Acute care imaging, portable imaging, C-arm imaging, interventional radiology, ECG's and CT. You will be part of a team including Xray, CT, Ultrasound, Clerical and Porter staff. This position is a CT evenings line - 7 on and 7 off rotation requiring on call coverage at times. This position works closely with the MRT I evening shift and will allow you to utilize both general radiography and CT skillsets. St. Mary's CT department runs a Siemens Somatom scanner and a Bayer Med Rad injector. We service a busy emergency department, 76 bed hospital and many surrounding rural hospitals. Description:
The Medical Radiation Technologist II (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures, and may work in a specialized area and/or coordinate daily work activities of the MRT team. The MRT II also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working in an acute care setting. Previous CT and Gen Rad Experience. Previous C-arm Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:CAMRT CT Courses 1,2,3. CT Imaging Certificate. Experience with Connect Care.
