Required Qualifications: One of the following educational credentials is required to be considered: Baccalaureate Degree (Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing), or Masters' Degree (Masters of Arts in Psychology; Masters of Science in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing; Masters of Social Work), Masters of Clinical Counseling. Current registration with the appropriate professional college or association is required. Authorization from the applicable professional college in order to perform psychosocial interventions.
Additional Required Qualifications:One year experience with group therapy. Ability to facilitate conflict resolution in a group setting. Knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment modalities. Must be able to incorporate feedback from co-facilitators and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with patients and team. Training in group therapy and familiarity with several theory bases, CBT, DBT, short term and solution focused therapy, object relations, and psychodynamic therapy. Must have an ability to process within the context of the team and co-therapy relationships and be able to provide psychotherapy and counseling
Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 3-5 years mental health experience, preferably in a community setting. Have a strong understanding of client resources in the community and experience liaising with referral sources and community agencies. An excellent attendance record and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment record and references.
