Required Qualifications:

A minimum of University Degree and completion of internship or equivalent, preferably in Nutrition and Food Services (required). At least three (3) years experience with menu nutrient analysis, CBORD systems data input, maintenance of regulatory standards, and assisting with menu development. One (1) to three (3) years of diet office systems administration and system rollout required. Three to five (3-5) years acute care clinical dietitian experience preferred. Completion of project management, informatics and other business / IT related courses preferred. College of Dietitians of Alberta practice permit preferred. Competency with computer applications: Windows NT and Microsoft Office, order entry computer applications (eg. CBORD Nutrition Suite), VAX, and workload measurement programs (eg. Cliniwand).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Able to maintain a professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact. Ability to function in an environment of complexity and change, and to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Ability to sit sedentary and use computer as well as telephone for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Special Knowledge/Skills: Displays superior communication skills (written and verbal) with all individuals contacted. Demonstrates effective problem solving and time management skills; able to meet deadlines. Demonstrates a positive attitude. Self-directed, creative, and innovative in achieving results. Strong leadership skills.
