Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program at a Master of Nursing level. Must possess relevant and recent clinical expertise within stream of practice. Must be eligible for licensure with CRNA as a Nurse Practitioner. Must be appropriately licensed with the clinical practice stream relevant to area of clinical employment.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous NP experience in an Acute Care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience caring for patients designated to GIM (General Internal Medicine) service. Advanced current knowledge of Nursing Theory, Nursing Philosophy, Educational Theory, and Research. Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Excellent leadership abilities and teaching skills. Strong ability to manage flexing duties and working with a variety of physician teams.
