Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program at a Master of Nursing level. Must possess relevant and recent clinical expertise within stream of practice. Must be eligible for licensure with CRNA as a Nurse Practitioner. Must be appropriately licensed with the clinical practice stream relevant to area of clinical employment.
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable working directly with residents/patients and their family members. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. Ability to function independently. Excel at working in a dynamic fast paced environment. Work well under pressure and in stressful situations. Application and knowledge of current research. Experience in a wide range of assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions, health promotion, diagnostic procedures and follow up care within LTC, End of Life Care, Palliative Care, and Restorative Care. Must understand and practice to full scope of their knowledge in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years of recent clinical experience as an NP in continuing care is preferred. Recent clinical experience as an RN in continuing care. Connect Care experience. Recent experience in Wound Care and Ostomy’s.
