Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Eligible for registration with the CAOT (Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists). Must be currently or become a registered authorizer with AADL program. Superior interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. Excellent communications skills in both verbal and written English required. Effective problem solving skills including analytical thinking and conflict resolution reasoning. Superior time management, planning and organizational skills, able to work independently. Ability to use computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Committed to working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year previous experience as an OT in a continuing care/rehabilitation setting preferred. Working knowledge of RAI/MDS 2.0 preferred.
