Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Superior interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written mediums. Effective problem solving skills including analytical thinking and conflict resolution reasoning. Superior time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Committed to displaying collaboration on an interdisciplinary team. Must be currently or be willing to become a registered authorizer with Alberta Aids to Daily Living. Proficient English is required. Ability to use computer programs such as outlook, word and excel.
Preferred Qualifications:Acute care experience (minimum 1 year). Experience in home care or community occupational Therapist would be an asset.
