Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong understanding of post-acute rehabilitation care, including pain management, mobility support, and recovery from surgery or injury. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families. Must be able to concentrate over extended periods of time. Physically able to complete all demanding aspects of patient/resident care and transport, e.g. walking, standing, bending, lifting, assuming awkward positions and standing for long durations of time. Must be able to understand written and verbal directions in English.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
