Your Opportunity:

This is your opportunity to enrich and contribute to the quality of life for our residents at St. Mary's. We are a LTC unit of 28 residents nestled above the beautiful Trochu valley. You would contribute to the allied therapy department and work together with the Physiotherapist and PTA to provide a meaningful and healthy therapeutic program.


The Occupational Therapist II (OT) is responsible for providing leadership and functional supervision through the coordination of the day to day operations to their assigned team. The OT II facilitates the development of professional skills in their team, participates in program development and operational planning, and acts as a communication liaison between team and management, and provides direct patient centered care, working as part of an Interprofessional leadership team. The OT II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
