Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Development (OD), this position builds strong trust-based relationships and effectively collaborates with diverse leaders, teams and partners to develop and implement innovative solutions grounded in evidence-based organizational development principles. As our Organizational Design & Talent Development Lead, the primary focus of this OD Consultant will be to design and implement an approach that optimizes organizational design and builds agile talent development and succession planning processes to ensure a sustainable pipeline of leaders. Ultimately, this approach will encourage and empower our people to grow their careers within Covenant Health, strengthen our Mission-Inspired Culture and help us achieve Covenant Health’s strategic objectives. As per the Code of Conduct, the OD Consultant provides these services in a manner that upholds the vision, mission, values and ethical traditions of Covenant Health. This position practices timely disclosure of any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest that may compromise professional duties and/or the reputation of Covenant Health and effectively manages such conflicts when they arise. Please note that travel is required, and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver's abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles.

Required Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will have: Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Leadership, Human Resources or Organizational Psychology. Five years’ experience providing organizational development, internal consultation and facilitation services within a complex organization. Certification in Change & Transition Management, and/or Project Management, and/or Executive Coaching, and/or Personality Assessment Administration (Personality Dimensions or MBTI). Formal training in succession planning, organizational design, leadership development approaches, adult learning, group facilitation and organizational development. Experience with evidence-based organizational design approaches. Experience with designing and implementing an integrated organization-wide talent management approach. Experience with best practice succession planning systems, processes and success measures. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are an essential requirement of this position, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. Certification in Change & Transition Management, and/or Project Management, and/or Executive Coaching, and/or 360 Feedback Tools and/or Personality Assessment Administration (Personality Dimensions or MBTI).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proven ability to successfully lead significant organization-wide initiatives and projects. Solid business acumen and ability to think strategically. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external partners. Excellent customer service orientation and strong ability to develop partnerships. Ability to objectively balance client and organizational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SharePoint is preferred. CPHR designation is preferred. Experience with LEADS leadership development framework and capability mapping is preferred.
