This location provides pharmacy services for Acute Care, Long Term Care, Emergency, Surgical services, and the onsite Community Cancer Clinic. Pharmacy Technicians are integral team members involved in medication distribution, inventory management, chemotherapy preparation and medication reconciliation. Description: The Pharmacy Technician provides technical and operational assistance to the Pharmacy Department in the preparation, checking, distribution and procurement of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.
