Join our Diagnostic Imaging team as a temporary part-time porter. This is a busy position that requires you to be on your feet lots and moving patients to and from Diagnostic Imaging by stretcher or wheelchair. Description: Porters are responsible for transporting people (patients, residents or clients) and a variety of equipment and supplies between different departments within the hospital, health centre or continuing care facility. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous portering experience in an acute care setting. Experience working in Diagnostic Imaging. Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize patient workload. Knowledge of isolation precautions and safe work practices. Strong communicator with health care staff and patients.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care. Be-Lite training. Current BLS training. Medical Terminology.
