Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). BScN or BPN required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrates excellent skills in the area of mental health, complex medical needs, and knowledge transfer. 2 to 3 years recent clinical supervision. 2 to 3 years acute care experience in medicine and/or mental health. 2 to 3 years experience working with complex behaviours, traumatic brain injury and Axis II traits. Must have an appreciation for inter-professional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
PIECES training. Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training. Experience with Rai-MDS 2.0. Mental health designation. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in stressful situation. Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviours.
