Must have at least two years directly related experience administering disability benefits. Strong computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, HR information systems and reporting programs is required. Ability to maintain internal and external relationships. Excellent customer service and inter-personal skills required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self motivated and directed.
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent organization and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in an environment of constant change. Ability to handle stressful situations and provide conflict resolution. Able to maintain a professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact.
Preferred Qualifications:Post Secondary education in Human Resources or Disability Management from a recognized post secondary institution is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Work experience in a unionized hospital environment preferred.
