Description: The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Key Responsibilities: * Schedule and coordinate operating room bookings for several surgeons, ensuring efficient use of surgical time. * Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in hospital systems. * Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless scheduling. * Verify patient information, pre-admission requirements, and surgical procedures details. * Assist in clerical duties related to surgical services. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. proficiency in hospital information systems and scheduling software (Connect Care). Excellent communication, patient services skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:Recent 2-5 years' experience in hospital scheduling or a related administrative role.
