Your Opportunity:

This position provides confidential administrative support to various departments at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the preparation of correspondence, agendas, minute taking, filing and record keeping, data entry, development of reports, and preparation of written communications for a variety of clinical and support areas. Description: The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least two years practical progressive office experience. Proficiency with various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook as well as Adobe Pro and Reader). Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize effectively while handling competing tasks and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team in environment. Must display good judgment and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure and within a changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Business/Secretarial Administration or Office Administration program preferred. Familiarity with health care and medical terminology desired.
