A Bachelor's degree in health-related field is required; Master's degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have at least 3-5 years progressively responsible continuing care experience in leadership roles; 3 of which will have been in a supervisory/management level positions.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong clinical knowledge and skills, demonstrated aptitude in leadership with progression in career, current computer skills along with familiarity with software programs. Provides evidence of professional development, exhibits excellent analytical and communication skills. Demonstrates sound problem-solving and critical thinking skills, excellent coaching and conflict management skills, flexible with change. Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize. Able to thrive in a dynamic team with capacity to demonstrate broad understanding of the complex systems of healthcare. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required. Valid Alberta Driver’s License required. On call requirements for Edmonton Continuing Care (rotational basis). Active annual registration with professional college required (where applicable).
