Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field. Active annual registration with professional college required (where applicable) Certified in CPR (where required). Must have at least 3-5 years progressively responsible continuing care experience in leadership roles; 3 of which will have been in a supervisory/management level positions. Knowledge/Skills: Exhibits strong clinical knowledge and skill in seniors care (Continuing Care, Assisted Living, Designated Assisted Living, Long Term Care) or relevant specialty. Demonstrated aptitude for leadership and progression in career. Current computer skills (e.g. calendar management and e-mail). Provides evidence of professional development. Exhibits excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills. Acts as a role model for other staff. Works within the Mission, Vision and Values of Covenant Health. Follows the Policies and Procedures developed by Covenant Health. Exhibits sound problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Exhibits ability to provide coaching and possesses conflict management skills Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize.
