Post-secondary diploma in a healthcare profession, business or related field required. Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting required. Experience in project planning, analysis, and management, preferably in a hospital setting.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and strategic directions of Covenant Health. Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to write reports, conduct effective presentations, and keep multiple projects on track. Strong working knowledge of the healthcare system. Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required. Must be able to demonstrate superior change management skills. Proficient with computer programs in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet. Ability to work under pressure and with tight timelines. Must be able to problem solve and manage conflicts or politically sensitive matters in a professional manner. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts, including executive members, zone committee members, and government groups. Must have a strong understanding of zone and community health processes, goals and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a Health Science or Business Discipline an asset. Certification or coursework/training in project management, change management, business analysis, or other leadership training would be considered an asset.
