The successful candidate will have: Post-secondary degree in a healthcare profession, business or related field 3-5 years related experience in a healthcare environment Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience Project Management certificate or minimum 2 years' of project management experience Strong change management skills and the ability to influence positive change without having operational responsibility Strong verbal and written communication skills to produce reports and communicate with clients from across the organization Ability to understand clinical issues, and to communicate effectively with a broad variety of people at different levels within the organization and with different skills and expertise Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams Ability to work independently with guidance when warranted Strong organizational skills A commitment to providing a quality product Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and the ability to become proficient with new software packages
Additional Qualifications:
Must abide by the highest standards of confidentiality and have a sound understanding of the principles within Alberta's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, as well as the Health Information Act Broad understanding of health systems Understanding of Pharmacy Services business processes Basic uderstanding of Process Excellence (LEAN/Six Sigma concepts)
