Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in psychology from a CAP recognized program required. Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Doctoral degree in clinical/counselling psychology from CPA/APA accredited program required. Member of or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Advanced knowledge and skills in differential diagnosis required. Experience in conducting psychological assessments (personality, psychodiagnostics, cognitive and capacity) also required. Ability to administer, score, and interpret cognitive, neuropsychological, and various other psychological instruments required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team structure. Strong oral and written communication skills as evidenced in psychological reports.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital/mental health setting. Experience in conducting individual and group therapy (Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)). Experienced in workshop presentations, group and program development/evaluation, and staff development. Familiar with the DSM-5TR. Ability to prioritize competing work demands, work independently, and to work with program colleagues in interdisciplinary team environment.
