Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred however other qualifications in Health Care will be considered. Eligible for registration with the appropriate professional body.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must have at least five years professional experience providing nursing care in a continuing care or home care environment which includes expertise using computerized assessment and tracking tools. An additional three years of directly related experience including coaching and mentoring staff, assessing learning requirements, developing training materials and providing individualized assistance and feedback is required. Must have demonstrated working knowledge of the RAI/MDS. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Must be comfortable using software such as MS Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel. Demonstrates strong leadership, team building and conflict management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with InterRAI LTCF and EPIC/Connect Care preferred. Previous experience in research and adult education is an asset.
