Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

One year Recreation Therapy Certificate from Norquest College or other approved educational institution. Minimum grade 12 education. Valid Class 4 driver’s license required, and must be eligible for Covenant Health Vehicle Insurance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated physical ability, and capability for fulfill job requirements. Able to speak, read, and write fluently in the English Language.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two year Recreation Therapy assistant diploma or approved equivalent preferred. Two years' experience working in Continuing Care recreation service. Experience working with the geriatric population.
