Grade 12 diploma or a recognized equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Equivalencies in experience may be considered. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently required. Strong word processing skills using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently within timelines and with frequent interruptions. Excellent listening and comprehension skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain customer focus while performing duties. Able to maintain accuracy of data entry and attention to detail while processing large volumes of work. Able to recognize and maintain confidential information. Able to understand both written and verbal instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent reception/switchboard/Unit Clerk experience. Experience working/volunteering in a LTC facility or other hospital environment. Computer, email and keyboarding experience.
